ABOUT SARAH

Hello, I’m Sarah! I’ve been helping people live happier, more fulfilling lives for over a decade. I am EMDRIA certified and work with clients virtually in California, New York, and Florida. I typically use a combination of talk therapy and EMDR in my work, and I am most informed by Narrative Therapy, IFS, and RCT.

My specializations and competencies include:

  • Men’s mental health

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety & Panic

  • Work stress/burnout

  • Grief (including pet loss)

  • Substance use and abuse

  • Sexuality (kink & sex worker friendly)

  • Spirituality

  • Veterans

  • First responders

  • LGBTQ+

  • Neurodivergence

  • ENM/CNM

  • Surrogate partners

My colleagues and former clients would likely describe me as warm, open-minded, direct, transparent, humorous, collaborative, and a little nerdy. I am a proud nerd and get really excited about staying up to date with the newest developments in the field. You will always find me with a book. I am also well-versed in gamer culture and many fandoms.

I worked in a community mental health setting for nearly a decade prior to opening a private practice. I’ve served as a guest lecturer at various California universities. Nowadays, I take pride in my role of clinical supervisor for pre-licensed therapists. Additionally, I provide consultation services for colleagues on clinical documentation and within other areas of my clinical expertise.
